This weekend is the 59th annual Azabujuban Noryo Matsuri, the festival organized by my neighborhood’s merchants to celebrate the point in summer when evenings begin to cool. People come from all over Tokyo to enjoy food, drink, entertainment, and games.
Fujifilm’s GFX100RF camera can take photos in a wide panoramic format, and that felt just right for capturing the energy of the event.
The festivities continue today, from mid-afternoon until late in the evening.
In my last newsletter, I wrote about my new book, 東京は花ーTokyo is Flowers. I still have some copies available. Please send me a note if you would like one. I am grateful for your support.
I hope that you have a wonderful summer.
